How can you end your suffering? Life can feel painful, lonely and bewildering; relationships can seem complex. You may be struggling personally or professionally, or both. Perhaps you are feeling empty, out of control, angry or frustrated. You may have a sense of yearning for something you cannot find. Whatever it is, you know you want a better life.

Talking to someone confidentially about your life and your difficulties can help. Someone who is not part of your family, friend or a partner, but someone who is able to listen to you, see your life as a whole, and understand how you got to where you are today. It can be difficult to find someone to be with when you feel despair, someone who won't tell you to 'pull yourself together' or 'think positively', and who won't judge you as you begin to speak your deepest thoughts, feelings, fears and desires.

Perhaps I could be that someone?

I have spent many years working with people professionally, helping them to discover who they are, understand themselves better, communicate better, find new direction and sometimes change direction. I've helped people to stay in relationships when times are difficult, leave relationships that are destructive, and others still to start a new one. Some people look for someone to be with in a time of crisis or other testing situation as they walk into the unknown, towards something they most truly want, and dream of being.

My approach to all my work is to see my clients as unique creative and evolving. I tap into their creativity to discover what blocks them from reaching their potential. They discover how to move past this, uncovering destructive patterns in thinking feeling or behaviour which have to be processed and transformed internally. This takes time, patience and perseverance, but once embarked upon, becomes a truly life changing journey.

I have a particular interest and expertise in working with relationship dynamics, both the internal relationship we have with ourselves and also the relationships we have with others and the wider world. I work with individuals couples and groups and design programmes for organisations.

With commitment this work can and does change people's lives, opening up the possibility for greater fulfillment, joy and creativity. It is a journey of self discovery and enlightenment. Are you ready for that?

Training, Qualifications & Experience

My psychotherapy career developed alongside a lengthy career in higher education lecturing in Communication. I trained at the Institute of Psychosynthesis, where I qualified as a Therapeutic Counsellor (PG Dip Counselling) and later a Psychotherapist (PG Dip Psychotherapy, MA in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy). With this came my accreditation and registration with the UKCP and membership of the BACP (MBACP).

I have worked for the NHS as an advisor in the Public Health department and also trained counsellors on the CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

I have worked with young people and trained with the Centre for Child Mental Health on various courses relating to working therapeutically with children and young people. These include 'Working with Anger', 'Managing the difficult child: 'Attachment issues', and the 'Use of Art in Therapy' etc. I am able to provide testimonials.

Further courses attended include: CBT + , Coaching, & Right Relations (relationship) Training with the Institute of Psychosynthesis. The Diploma in Clinical Supervision and Consultancy with The Grove in London, and The Certificate in Personal Coaching, and Diploma in Personal Performance coaching at The Coaching Academy, London.

I have been running workshops for several years, and I design and deliver bespoke training courses for business.
