About me
Hello, my name is Victoria,
I am here for you, to understand why it is you are feeling lost, unsure and even wondering who you even are anymore. If you are feeling anxious and it is affecting your life then I am here to offer you a warm, compassionate space for you to be you. To work with you to explore what it is you need to understand yourself and work out what you need to feel more confident and understand what is going on for you. I don't judge or tell you what you should be doing. I listen and work to understand what it is you need to help you become the person you want to be. To offer strategies that can help you be more you.
I have experience working in schools, colleges and charities providing counselling sessions for children, young people and adults.
I really want to find out about you, to really hear you and for us to work together while I support you to explore what it is you need, to move beyond the challenges you are facing and to move in the direction you want to go. I am compassionate and care about providing the space you need to be more you.
I work creatively with children, young people and adults too. Making space for games, crafts, activites in order to create a relaxed, safe place to explore your values, feelings, needs and creating opportunities for building resilience and growth.
I have been trained in a number of approaches but I work by listening to you and together we can find out what works for you. I can provide sessions online, on the phone, in person or outdoors providing walk and talk therapy.
There are a few options for in person work, I can meet with you in Skipton or in Cowling and both rooms offer comfortable, confidential spaces for you to feel safe and able to share. I can also provide walk and talk therapy. Please do get in touch with me to find out more about what I can offer you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
