About me
I'm a trauma-informed psychotherapist offering in-person sessions in Brighton and online. I work with adults navigating a range of issues, including chronic health conditions, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions. My practice is LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirmative.
Therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of what’s happening—especially when life feels overwhelming or when patterns repeat and you’re not sure why. If you're carrying a lot, feeling disconnected, or quietly holding a sense of shame or not-enoughness, we can explore that together at a pace that feels manageable.
I offer a warm and thoughtful space where all aspects of your experience are welcome. My work is informed by trauma theory and an understanding of how our nervous systems respond to stress and disconnection. I pay close attention to what helps you feel safe and supported, so you can begin to meet yourself with greater ease and understanding.
I’m particularly interested in how our early relationships, our bodies, and our stories shape how we move through the world today. Sometimes the most important shifts begin by learning to listen inward with more compassion.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Diploma in Contemporary Trauma Practice (currently training)
- Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling
I began my career as an actor, but chronic health conditions meant I had to step away from that path. After a period of readjustment, I moved into counselling and psychotherapy—a journey shaped by my own experiences of change and loss. This background informs how I work, particularly with people living with chronic illness and those in performance-based or high-pressure roles. It also helps me connect with those navigating identity shifts, grief, and periods of transition.
Over the past nine years, I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings, including charities, low-cost counselling services, and private practice. I’m currently completing additional training in trauma therapy, with a focus on relational, body-based, and trauma-informed approaches.
I work with care and curiosity, creating space to explore what feels most important to you. If you’re interested in working together, you’re very welcome to get in touch, and we can arrange a free initial call that will last up to 20 minutes.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I offer a sliding scale from £40 to £70 per session, to make therapy more accessible to people with different financial circumstances.
My low-income slots are currently full.
I have one slot available at £40-£50
Two slots available at £50-£60
Three slots available at £60-£70
Lower-cost spaces tend to be more limited, and there’s often more demand than availability. If you’re able to pay a higher rate, choosing to do so helps keep these lower-fee slots available for those who might not otherwise be able to access therapy. Feel free to get in touch if you’d like more details about how the scale works.
