About me
I am a friendly and passionate Clinical Psychologist and EMDR therapist, experienced in helping with a range of difficulties including; anxiety, panic, stress and burnout, trauma/PTSD, depression, and low self-esteem.
What type of therapy can I offer?
I draw on principles from a range of evidence-based psychological therapies which means I can be flexible and adapt sessions to suit you. These include:
- Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
My approach
I know reaching for help can be hard so I strive to ensure you feel relaxed and safe. My approach is warm, non-judgemental and down-to-earth. We will work as a team to help you understand why difficulties may have arisen, and guide you to develop effective coping strategies so you can live the life you really want.
Therapy is a big investment and it is important to find someone you feel comfortable with. I offer a free no-obligation phone or video consultation so we learn a bit about each other and help you decide if I am the right therapist for you.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
