About me
I am an integrative counsellor who works with a variation of techniques such as CBT, Gestalt and socratic questioning. I work with people between the ages of 18 upwards, both for individual therapy and couples therapy.
I have been helping clients since September 2021 and have worked with issues including anxiety, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem, low level OCD and trauma. To date, I have completed over 650 client hours and currently working towards accreditation.
I work both for myself from two locations, namely in Central London and Buckhurst Hill in Essex. I also do some work for the Betterhelp Platform. h
It is so rewarding when I see a client who is able to start seeing a more positive outlook on life, when they begin to form better relationships and become more confident in themselves. I enjoy being able to provide that space, time, safe space and without judgement. It is important they feel that they are not walking through their journey alone.
I work with my clients, without a fixed agenda . When I begin with a new client, I see them as a “clear canvas” and very much their own individual and unique person. I work with my clients through exploration all of the challenges they may bring and through use of questions, try to explore feelings, alternative thinking patterns and learn to discover where their negative behaviour may come from. Through use of counselling skills, I am able to help reflect these feelings with my clients, to give them clarity and a better perspective on how they could approach various situations. If a client struggles to explore issues, I will try to use other techniques and tools to help create a better understanding for them. My goal is to support my clients in the best way that I can, so that they can find that inner self, confidence, work towards some form of closure or life change.

My training was with Redbridge Institute and my placements included You and Me Counselling in Hornchurch, Essex, Highams Park Counselling Service, London (telephone counselling) and Cherry Tree Therapy Centre, Buckhurst Hill, Essex.
I now have a private practice and work both in Central London, Buckhurst Hill and for the online platform BetterHelp.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Additional information
My fees are currently £45 for online sessions, £65 for face to face sessions (IG8 area) and £75 for face to face sessions (EC3 area). For couples therapy, I charge £75 at Buckhurst Hill or £65 online.
I am also happy to accept sessions every other week, if this makes things financially easier for clients.
