About me
I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Director at Amplify. I specialise in working with middle and senior leaders in professional roles. In recent years I have developed an acute understanding of the challenges these professionals face and the emotional obstacles that can silently undermine their success both personally and professionally. Whether that's burnout, poor boundaries, loss of meaning, stress, anxiety, addiction or a combination of these.
For the busy professional clients I work with I know that time is precious. I avoid contracting lengthy, time-consuming interventions and aim to deliver accessible, swift, tailored support that integrates into busy lives. Be that a one off space to decompress or a short burst of sessions to think about a specific issue or problem.
Training, qualifications & experience
As a Clinical Psychologist, I have worked as a clinician and clinical leader in a range of services in the NHS.
Prior to joining Amplify, I was the Director of Psychological services for a large NHS primary care provider.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I provide quick, judgement-free, confidential clinical and coaching support for personal and professional well-being and performance. My approach is coaching led but is informed by ideas from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Single Session Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Additional information
