About me

As an Integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for therapy. I appreciate choosing the right therapist is a challenging first step. Nonetheless, you know that you need to explore, understand and heal. However, it is not uncommon that you feel uncertain about exactly what you want, but you are aware that something is not working for you. What I can offer is therapy that offers the opportunity to gain clarity and better navigate your wellbeing.

My integrative approach draws on psychodynamic, humanistic and existential principles. The number of sessions can be fixed or we work on an open-ended basis. I work with a wide range of issues as these things tend to overlap. It is important to for us to work at a pace that is manageable for you, I’ll check in with you often about how you’re finding our work.

The first step can be hard, so I offer an initial no-obligation 15 minute Zoom consultation to talk about any questions you may have. This is an opportunity to discuss how we might work together. Please do send me an email and get in touch.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's University London and hold a further Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I attend regular supervision and participate in continued professional development.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
