About me

Taking the time to find the right counsellor who can provide the service you need is an important first step towards self-care. With this in mind I offer a free, no obligation 30 min trial session either in person or online to help you with this decision.

My focus is to provide you with a confidential, compassionate and non-judgmental space in which you can feel safe and relaxed to talk things through. Whatever painful feelings or experiences you are bringing, I will support you to explore what is causing you to feel that way and help you find a way forward. I believe that asking for help in times of difficulty is a sign of strength and great courage, you don’t have to go through it alone.

I am available for weekly individual counselling either short term or long term, this is entirely up. I offer face-to-face appointments at my practice in Ashtead or online sessions via Zoom. If you would like more information then please see my website or feel free to contact me directly with any questions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified integrative counsellor which means I have been trained in a variety of approaches enabling me to tailor my service to meet your needs. I offer a supportive relationship in which we can work through your thoughts while exploring whatever you need help with.

I have experience supporting people going through different difficulties in life including anxiety, personal relationship problems, work relationship problems, ill health, autism, loss of direction in life, stress, domestic abuse, infidelity and more. No matter what you’re going through, things can change for the better.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
