About me
Sessions Available ONLINE and WALK-AND-TALK Only
Hello, I’m Sana.
I offer counselling services for individuals aged 18 and over, providing a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly.
With empathy, warmth, and genuine care, I support you in becoming the best version of yourself, helping you navigate life’s challenges and unlock your full potential. Therapy is a powerful tool for healing from past experiences that may still influence your present. Together, we will explore your history, bringing clarity to your current circumstances and helping you understand your emotions and experiences.
I am currently expanding my skills through training in EMDR, Couples Counselling, Trauma Practice, and Addictions, which allows me to offer even more specialised support for those dealing with complex challenges.
I believe that open, honest, and compassionate dialogue fosters self-awareness and personal growth. Rather than giving advice or directing your choices, my role is to walk alongside you in processing your thoughts and feelings. I aim to provide a supportive and accepting environment where you feel comfortable sharing openly and without fear of judgment. This encourages meaningful self-exploration, deeper understanding, and positive change.
Every person is unique, and I tailor my approach to suit your specific needs, drawing from various psychological theories. At the heart of my practice is the belief in the power of human connection and empathy.

I am the founder of INNATE Counselling and Psychotherapy, a warm and supportive practice dedicated to providing affordable mental health services to those in need. At INNATE, we prioritise creating a safe and healing space for individuals to explore their emotional well-being, overcome challenges, and empower themselves for personal growth.
We are an approved CPCAB training centre, offering accredited counselling courses to support the next generation of therapists. Our courses include:
✔ Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)
✔ Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3)
At INNATE, we not only offer therapeutic support to clients but also provide professional training and supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors. We aim to nurture a community of compassionate and skilled professionals, promoting ongoing growth and development within the field of mental health.
As part of our mission, we offer a range of courses, workshops, and support groups to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health, fostering education and healing within our community.
Who Can Benefit from Therapy?
Therapy is for everyone. You don’t need to be in crisis or have a diagnosed mental health condition to seek support. Whether you're facing a tough decision, experiencing stress, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, therapy can help you understand your emotions, build resilience, and develop coping strategies for everyday life.
As your therapist, I will be with you every step of the way, helping you work towards your personal goals—whatever they may be.
If you're ready to take the next step toward healing and self-discovery, I am here to support you.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
