About me
Whatever brings you to therapy, we can work together to explore and make sense of your feelings, consider your choices, develop new perspectives on the past and build your resilience and resources.
My approach to counselling is founded on working uniquely with you, exploring what feels overwhelming and working together to bring about positive and meaningful changes to your life. By reducing your stress to a manageable level and increasing your positivity we will work on helping you cope again and enjoying every aspect of your life and relationships.
I am an Accredited registered Psychotherapist with a friendly, calm and reassuring manner that will help you feel at ease. I can offer you a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings. I adhere to the BACP code of ethical standards and conduct, including undertaking supervision and continuous professional development. I am also a BUPA registered therapist.

As an integrative therapist, my training and background allow me to draw on a diverse range of approaches to meet your needs. I am experienced working with anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression, relationship problems, insomnia, personality disorders, and ADHD.
Our work together can help find healthy coping mechanisms, develop self-awareness, improved problem solving, better communication, and identifying bad habits or a wrong direction.
Message me and I can arrange a free 10 minute introduction phone call to see if I can help you and to give you the chance to ask me any questions.
Training, qualifications & experience

I previously worked for a large mental health service.
As well as having a busy private practice, I also work for a large EAP company (employer assistance programme) as a Counselling Associate.
I volunteer for a large bereavement support charity and am a qualified bereavement support specialist.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
