About me

Our mental health is equally as important as our physical health, and although reaching out for therapy is a brave step, it can also be a very daunting one. This was certainly how I felt when I had my own battle with depression many years ago. But it was also because of my experience that I developed a passion for helping others struggling with their mood and pursued a career in mental health.

As a fully qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working both in the NHS and privately, I am able to assess your current mood difficulties and teach you how to apply CBT in order to feel better.

I have experience of supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds and of using CBT to treat a variety of mental health difficulties. These include Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Illness Anxiety and Specific Phobias.  I am also qualified and experienced in helping those struggling with mental health issues as a result of, or in combination with, long term physical health conditions.
