Natasha Lewis BSc (Hons) MBACP Registered
My background is as an integrative counsellor where I can use skills from different theoretical perspectives such as person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and existential counselling to suit each individual client.
My approach is to build a good relationship with client(s) so that I can provide them with a safe, warm and confidential environment. In this environment they can learn to grow through processing their thoughts and feelings to gain insight into understanding themselves, others and the world around them in order to live their best life and fulfil their individual or relationship potential.
I work with individual clients and couples. I have worked with individuals in secondary school, community mental health, charities. I currently provide individual clients with short-term IAPT NHS Counselling, and Higher Education counselling for students on degree level courses.
I currently work with couples using emotionally focused therapy which allows the couple to look at their current cycle of feeling and thoughts and how that impact on their behaviour towards each other.
I am offer short-term counselling of 6, 9, 12 or 24 sessions and long-term counselling.
