About me
Feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or like you’re carrying more than you let on?
On the outside, things might look like they’re being held together but inside, it can feel heavy, confusing, or hard to switch off. You don’t have to face that on your own.
Hi, I’m Maz.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on for you at your pace, in your own way. There’s no expectation to have the right words or even know where to start. We can take it gently, together.
You might be coming with something specific, such as a loss, trauma, relationship difficulty, or experience of abuse or it might feel less clear, more like things have built up over time and become harder to manage.
I support people with a range of experiences, including trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, experiences of abuse, work-related stress, grief and loss, and family conflict.
Our work might involve understanding what’s underneath what you’re feeling, finding ways to feel more steady, or simply having a space where you don’t have to hold everything alone.
How I work
I am a fully qualified and accredited senior counsellor, offering sessions: in-person (Hamilton & East Kilbride), outdoors (local country parks across Lanarkshire & some areas of Glasgow), online or by phone.
Whether indoors or outdoors, I aim to provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you feel supported, heard, and able to explore at your own pace.
Outdoor therapy can be especially helpful for some people, offering a sense of space, movement, and connection with nature alongside the therapeutic process.
Getting started
Reaching out can feel like a big step so you don’t have to commit straight away as I offer a free 15-minute consultation where you can:
