Hi, my name's Maz and I am a psychotherapist/counsellor who is here to hear you.
Counselling can be a really daunting route to take. Having to talk to a stranger about feelings, thoughts and emotions can be so far removed from people's everyday lives that the very thought will turn people off instantly but what if taking time out of your day talking to that stranger perhaps gave you breathing space, gave to time to think, feel, perhaps even evaluate.
People come to counselling for all different reasons but what stays consistent with counselling is that you receive support when you need it most, building trust with that stranger, giving you the chance to talk whilst they listen. Reaching out for that support is the first step and that's where I step in.
I am not here to fix you, I'm here to support you in what you want to work with as there are many different areas throughout life which can cause struggles, pain & confusion, perhaps there's a crossroad or stumbling block that you've come across at this time in your life that you wish to visit.
Honestly, counselling takes hard work and commitment on your part but I am here to support you in the challenges you are facing.
I am what they call an integrative therapist which basically means I have a wide range of counselling tools which I can use to support you online or over the telephone.
Feel free to get in touch for an initial chat to see if I am a good fit for your needs.
