About me

I am a dedicated counsellor and mental health practitioner offering compassionate, personalised therapy to address various challenges, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergent, autism, trauma, stress, grief, and low self-esteem.

My practice is open to individuals from diverse backgrounds, welcoming everyone with their unique story and experiences. I offer tailored counselling to adults from all walks of life to help them navigate and overcome difficulties. I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, Psychodynamic, Talking Therapy, and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP Coaching). I offer fluent support in English, French, and Lingala, with conversational support in Spanish. I also specialise in NLP coaching to help you stay motivated and achieve your goals.

With extensive experience working with children and young people (CYP), I understand as a mother of two young people ,the challenges they can face in school or in their daily life, and how these can impact their families. I empower them to thrive through counselling or coaching, providing the tools they need to embark positively on their new journey.

To conclude, I’m a people person, friendly and approachable, and I’m devoted to helping others learn about self-acceptance, kindness, empathy, and understanding, so they can treat themselves with the kindness they deserve.

Training, qualifications & experience

Accredited by the American Board of NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), my goal is to empower you with tools that improve communication, flexibility, and self-awareness. These sessions give you the clarity to spot new opportunities, truly understand others, and feel a sense of wholeness.

I have a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and Psychotherapy and I studied at BA Honours in Modern Foreign Languages

I also have extensive experience helping people overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), stress, ADHD, autism, anger, repetitive behaviours, relationship issues, displacement, and grief. With care, compassion, and professionalism, I follow the ethical standards of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). Beyond my practice, I volunteer with Tog Mind and Place2Be, supporting adults, families, and young people in need.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
