About me

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience working both in private practice, the NHS and with various charities.

I work with both individuals and groups and have undertaken a variety of different trainings which allows me to work pluralistically and to adapt to what you might bring to the work. I aim to create a relationship within which we can work together creatively on arising issues. The number of sessions can be time limited (for example 10 sessions) or open-ended. During therapy, many issues can arise from personal struggles, relationship issues, work issues as well as transitioning stages of life and finding purpose.

Prior to training as a therapist, I worked as a lawyer. I have many years of experience as a senior manager within the charity sector as well as working as a trainer for psychotherapists and counsellors and a management and work coach.

During the first session, there is an opportunity to experience some of the ways that I work, answer questions and explore what has brought you to therapy. Attending a first session is not an obligation to continue but is exploratory.

I am registered with UKCP and abide by their Code of Ethics.

I am currently taking referrals for psychotherapy or counselling, in person (in Peckham) or online throughout the week (via Zoom).

If you would like to speak before arranging an initial session I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation.   If you would like to arrange a session please email me.   I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
