About me
It’s not easy reaching out for someone to talk to the first time as it can feel quite daunting. Hopefully I can put your mind at ease in providing a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, and empathic place for you to explore your feelings, anxieties or worries.
My approach is Pluralistic which blends the most effective elements of Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We all need different things at different moments in time from therapy and this is carried out by using the approach which feels meaningful to you. The key aspect of this approach is the collaboration between me and you, meaning we will work together to make sense of what is going on for you and how you want to move forward with it.
I offer short-term and long-term therapy depending on what you need and this could change depending on what you need at the time. We can create goals for short-term work as well as ultimate outcome goals. I offer support in many areas including; stress, anxiety, self-defeating behaviours, self-esteem, bereavement, relationships, depression and addiction.
If counselling is something you would like to try why not pick up the phone today and take that first step.
