About me

About me and my Therapy Practice

I offer integrative psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, ADHD, burnout, low self-worth, or a sense of feeling stuck, disconnected or loss of meaning despite appearing to cope well on the surface.

My approach is relational, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that clients often hold more understanding and capacity within themselves than they may initially realise, and symptoms often carry meaning rather than simply needing to be "fixed". Side by side, we explore both present-day challenges and the deeper emotional patterns that may sit underneath them.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life stages. Some clients come with a clear issue or crisis they want support with, while others arrive with a more general sense of disconnection, pressure, or internal conflict despite appearing to cope well externally.

Many people I work with notice recurring patterns in their relationships, such as people-pleasing, difficulties with boundaries, fear of rejection or abandonment, conflict avoidance, or feeling drawn towards emotionally unavailable partners. Together we can explore how these patterns may have developed and whether they continue to serve you today. Developing greater awareness of these relational dynamics can create the possibility for more secure, authentic and fulfilling relationships with both yourself and others.

Over time, therapy can support greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, clearer boundaries and decision-making, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of connection to yourself and your life.

Before training as a parenting coach and psychotherapist, I worked as a lawyer and tax adviser for an investment bank. Later while raising my family I spent many years studying and practising Buddhist meditation  before training as a parenting coach and subsequently as a integrative transpersonal psychotherapist. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation of the many transitions and challenges people encounter throughout life.

I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy in Notting Hill, Maida Vale, and online.

Practice Description

I understand that beginning therapy can feel like a significant step, and can sometimes carry a sense of uncertainty or stigma. This can be particularly true if you are used to managing things alone or continuing to function despite struggling internally. My aim is for you to feel in control and able to go at your own pace while offering a space that feels thoughtful, collaborative, emotionally attuned, and free from judgement.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on the needs of each individual. My work is informed by relational, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and transpersonal perspectives, while remaining grounded in everyday life.

We consider not only immediate difficulties or symptoms, but also the underlying emotional patterns, relational dynamics, beliefs, and coping strategies that may have developed over time. Therapy can help bring greater awareness to these patterns and create the possibility for meaningful and lasting change.

Alongside talking therapy, I may sometimes incorporate creative or reflective approaches where helpful, particularly when feelings or experiences are difficult to articulate verbally.

I work with adults and young adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including professionals, parents, carers, and those navigating significant life transitions.

I offer therapy in Notting Hill, Maida Vale, and online.

The First Session

I offer a free initial 30-minute telephone consultation before arranging a first session. This is an opportunity for us to briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, any questions you may have, and whether working together feels like the right fit.

The first full session offers more space to begin exploring your experiences in greater depth and to think together about what you may be seeking from therapy.

During the first session, we may explore current difficulties, important life experiences, relationship patterns, or areas of life that feel painful, stuck, or unsustainable. There is also space to discuss practicalities, boundaries, and how we might work together.

Following the session, there is no obligation to continue. Some clients choose to take time to reflect before deciding whether they would like to work together longer term.
