About me
I recognise how difficult it can be to afford personal therapy. So for the months of June and July I'm offering a substantial discount for new clients , Please contact me for more information.
Are you looking to talk with someone who can truly listen and hear your point of view without criticism or judgement? Talking things through with a counsellor can help you to unburden, untangle and make sense of your thoughts and feelings.
Any presenting issue is welcome, including but not limited to :- anxiety, low mood, self-worth, confidence, feeling lost, circumstances, trauma, childhood abuse, distress, workplace issues , relationships.
I provide a counselling service which promotes autonomy, a space where you can speak freely without worry of judgement. Where you will be heard and accepted.
Perhaps childhood has impacted your adult self ? Maybe you are struggling in a relationship with communication or relating to others due to difficulties, barriers or traumatic events.
Perhaps past trauma has left you with questions about your life, Leaving you feeling disconnected with yourself / your partner or perhaps have never really known who you are as an individual. I can help you to move forward through these challenges. Counselling is an investment to your wellbeing.
Like physical health, mental health also requires time and nurturing to heal.
If you feel like your struggling or finding life or situations difficult therapy can help to release emotions, understand them, reframe & bring a different perspective which can help reflection and bring clarity and over all wellbeing.
Perhaps your unsure where to begin but know there's something you need to work through just don't know where to start? I will work along side you to explore these thoughts and feelings. Together we can unpack those areas of life which have become difficult to face, helping you to move forward, make positive change and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotions.
Experiences such as loss from losing someone through death , illness or even a relationship ( broken friendships/ family issues as well as romantic relationship breakdown) can cause distress and confusion even inner turmoil.
I am a Registered, Qualified and experienced person centered counsellor ( private practitioner) having began my practice ( clarity counselling) in 2012.
I provide person centered therapy to individuals and couples. My core approach is person centered/ Relational however I am able to draw on other approaches .
It is very important to me that I work uniquely with each client, Being able to meet each individual / couple where they are in life and work with them effectively & uniquely throughout the counselling process. With yourself and the therapeutic relationship being at the core of the work together.
In my experience I have found that working in a person centered / relational way increases autonomy and freedom along with safety to process thoughts and emotions to enhance self awareness, personal growth and self acceptance. It creates the space you may need to feel heard and be yourself and feel able to work through struggles and challenges in a healthy way.
I strive to appreciate / accept and acknowledge difference & diversity along with your own unique experiences .
I will Work with you, Holding a safe space for you to feel able to explore sensitive issues along with painful emotions as they arise.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
