About me
I'm Keturah, a qualified counsellor and supervisor.
Maybe you're struggling with something that's been going on for a while. Maybe life has changed, and you're not quite sure how to navigate what's next. Or perhaps, from the outside, everything looks fine, but inside, you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or simply not quite yourself.
Counselling gives you somewhere to pause. Somewhere to talk honestly, without having to edit yourself or worry about how you're coming across. Together, we can make sense of what's happening, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and explore what you want to do differently.
I'm an integrative and trauma-informed counsellor with over 10 years' experience across mental health, safeguarding, NHS, voluntary sector and higher education settings. I work with adults around a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, grief, loss and significant life changes.
I also have specialist experience supporting people through fertility difficulties, IVF/IUI, miscarriage, pregnancy and baby loss, and the complex emotions that can accompany these experiences. I also work with those transitioning through pregnancy and parenthood.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP-registered counsellor (MBACP) and qualified Clinical Supervisor with a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision (Level 7). I have been counselling since 2017 and have over 15 years' experience across mental health, safeguarding, the NHS, the voluntary sector, and higher education.
I undertake regular training and development covering a variety of topics. Some of my key core qualifications are below:

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I work with adults who come to counselling with a wide range of experiences, there is no right or wrong. I also offer counselling to trainee/student counsellors.
Having worked in mental health services for around 15 years, I understand that often there is no “one thing” that brings you to counselling. I work with those who are wanting space to talk, whether that's in relation to a life transition such as bereavement, relationship challenges and changes, pregnancy, birth, parenthood, or perhaps there is no specific 'thing,' but you're finding yourself feeling stuck or overwhelmed in life.
I also have specialist training and experience in counselling with issues connected to fertility, reproductive journeys, pregnancy and loss.

- Pregnancy after loss
- Miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage
- Baby loss at any stage
- TFMR
- Fertility investigations and treatment
- Decisions about continuing or ending treatment
- Secondary infertility
- The emotional impact of trying to conceive
- Complex or ambivalent feelings about parenthood
- Changes in identity, relationships and sense of self
- Mental health concerns
