About me

I provide a safe, confidential space, free from judgement for you to share what's going on for you and set goals for what you would like to be different moving forward. Together we can create an individual plan tailored to your goals and throughout our sessions, we work on strategies that empower you to make the changes you want to see for yourself. You are already searching for a therapist which is a huge step towards change!

I can support you to become a master of your thoughts and to take control of those moments when anxiety tries to steal your peace. I can support you if you feel like you want to get a handle on certain habits or behaviours that aren’t helpful to you. We can work together on letting go of self-doubt and build your confidence and resilience.

Research consistently shows that the most important element of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. Please reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to make sure we are a good fit for each other before committing to any sessions. I hope to hear from you soon!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information

I mainly use CBT in my practice but am able to tailor the sessions in line with what you are looking for and what works for you. You are the expert in your life so I will always ask for your input and feedback in order to adapt our sessions accordingly. These are your sessions so we will make sure you get the most out of them.

You should walk away from our sessions knowing yourself more, what makes you tick, what brings you joy and how to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a way that serves you instead of works against you. You will also have a toolkit of strategies that we have tried and tested together that you know can be helpful for your present and future self to keep you living healthier and happier.
