About me
About Me
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step. You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted or simply aware that something in your life no longer feels sustainable. You may be struggling in your relationships, finding yourself repeating the same patterns, living with the challenges of ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, coping with addiction or recovery, or trying to make sense of a loss, life transition or a persistent feeling that something isn't quite right.
Whatever has brought you here, you will be met with warmth, curiosity and without judgement.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), offering therapy from comfortable consulting rooms in Marylebone, Central London, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, and online throughout the UK.
My belief is that therapy is about far more than reducing symptoms or finding quick solutions. Emotional difficulties often develop for understandable reasons. Anxiety, depression, perfectionism, addiction, people-pleasing, emotional withdrawal or relationship struggles are rarely random; they are often ways we have learned to survive, adapt or protect ourselves. Together, we can begin to understand these patterns with compassion rather than criticism, allowing new choices and healthier ways of relating to yourself and to others to emerge.
I offer a calm, confidential and collaborative space where you can slow down, think openly and explore whatever feels important to you. Many people describe feeling as though they have spent years simply coping—holding everything together whilst privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or stuck. Therapy provides the opportunity to step out of survival mode and begin understanding not only what is happening, but why.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting you to fit into one therapeutic model. My work draws upon psychodynamic psychotherapy, person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), attachment theory and trauma-informed practice. This allows us to work both with your current difficulties and with the deeper emotional experiences that may continue to influence your life today.
The therapeutic relationship sits at the heart of my work. Research consistently shows that feeling understood, accepted and emotionally safe is one of the strongest predictors of positive therapeutic change. My aim is therefore to create a relationship where you feel able to speak openly, explore difficult feelings at your own pace and develop a deeper understanding of yourself without fear of judgement.
I work with adults experiencing a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, burnout, addiction and recovery, trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, shame, perfectionism, emotional regulation, identity, and major life transitions. Alongside this, I have particular experience supporting professionals who may appear capable and successful to others while privately struggling with relentless pressure, self-criticism, imposter syndrome or emotional exhaustion.
I also work in a neurodivergent-affirming way, recognising that many adults with ADHD have spent much of their lives masking, overcompensating or believing they are somehow "too much" or "not enough". Therapy can become a place where those experiences are understood with compassion, where strengths are recognised alongside challenges, and where it becomes possible to work with your mind rather than constantly feeling at war with it.
Many of the people I work with are not looking for someone to give them advice or tell them what to do. They are looking for someone who will genuinely listen, help them make sense of their experiences and support them in creating lasting change. Whether your difficulties have developed recently or have been with you for many years, therapy offers an opportunity to understand yourself more fully, develop greater emotional resilience and build more satisfying relationships, with yourself and with the people around you.
Seeking therapy is not a sign that something is wrong with you. Often, it is a sign that you are ready to understand yourself differently. I would be privileged to accompany you on that journey.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training & Experience
I am a BACP Registered Integrative Psychotherapist with a First-Class Honours BSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of East London.
My training has provided me with a strong foundation in a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, person-centred therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I have also completed foundation training in Psychoanalytic Individual and Couples Psychotherapy, deepening my understanding of attachment, relationships and the unconscious patterns that can influence how we think, feel and relate to others.
Alongside my core training, I have undertaken further professional development in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Trauma-Informed Practice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT), and working therapeutically with ADHD, neurodivergence, addiction and recovery. My psychoanalytic training has also been enriched through professional development with Tavistock Relationships, further informing my understanding of relational dynamics and emotional development.
I have experience working with adults presenting with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, ADHD, addiction and recovery, trauma, bereavement, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, shame, perfectionism and major life transitions.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I do not believe that one therapeutic approach fits everyone. Instead, I tailor therapy to the individual, drawing on different models according to your needs, strengths and goals. Whether you are seeking support with a current difficulty or looking to understand longstanding patterns, our work together will be collaborative, thoughtful and guided by what is most helpful for you.
I am committed to maintaining the highest professional standards through regular clinical supervision, ongoing continuing professional development (CPD), and adherence to the BACP Ethical Framework. Continuing to learn and develop is an important part of my practice, ensuring that the support I offer remains informed, reflective and responsive to the needs of the people I work with.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further Information
I offer both short-term and open-ended psychotherapy, depending on your individual needs and what you hope to gain from therapy. Sessions are available in person from my consulting rooms in Marylebone, Central London, and Hendon NW4, as well as online for clients throughout the UK.
I recognise that beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. During our first session, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no expectation to share everything immediately; therapy develops at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful for you.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate and tailored to the individual. Some clients come with a specific issue they wish to work through, while others are seeking a deeper understanding of longstanding emotional or relationship patterns. Together, we will develop an approach that reflects your needs, goals and circumstances.
I welcome adults from all backgrounds and aim to provide an inclusive, respectful and neurodivergent-affirming environment where you can feel heard, understood and supported.
If you have any questions before arranging an initial appointment, please feel free to get in touch. I appreciate that finding the right therapist is an important decision and am happy to answer any questions you may have before we meet.
