About us

Insula Wellbeing is a team of experienced mental health specialists, here to support you through whatever life may be bringing your way, without the long waits often associated with traditional health services.

We know that reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and that when you do feel ready to talk, timing matters. That’s why we’re committed to providing expert, compassionate care as quickly as possible, so you don’t have to face things alone for longer than necessary.

Our approach combines evidence-based therapy with warmth, understanding and practical support, giving you a safe space to talk openly about what’s going on for you. Together, we can help you make sense of how you’re feeling, understand what may be keeping you stuck and find practical ways to move forward.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, stress, relationships, loss, change, or simply feeling that something isn’t quite right, you don’t need to have everything figured out before you come to us. Our aim isn’t simply to help you through a difficult moment, but to support you in making meaningful changes that last.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
