About me
At Reach Out I aim to provide a place where you feel safe and secure to explore counselling. A place where you are accepted, for who you are and where you are in this journey called life. All of us should feel worthy and of value whatever the issue. I will help you in a trauma informed manner, helping equip you to feel safe. I work with individuals dealing with all of life's struggles but particularly welcome those who struggle with pornography or problematic sexual behaviours. I also work with individuals from a Christian perspective where faith is important to them.
Training, qualifications & experience
With over 30 years of public service experience, which included critical incident stress debriefing, delivering wellbeing and peer support services and some counselling in a professional OHW setting. I have been involved with men struggling with problematic sexual behaviours for a number of years and the consequential partner betrayal from a trauma based perspective.
I am a qualified counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Applied Skills and Professional Standards.
APSATS trainee, currently working towards certification and COFRA trained by STOPSO.

Member organisations
The Association of Christian Counsellors and Linked Professions is a professional body representing and setting standards for Christian counselling and care in the UK. The organisation is made up of various different membership categories, including Counsellor and Accredited, and requires all members working as counsellors to undertake Continuous Professional Development on a regular basis.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I have over 30 years of public service helping individuals dealing with trauma and life's difficulties. If you are struggling with anxiety or depression; trying to manage the demands of work and home life I am here to help, to work alongside you to find solutions. I work with individuals who have problematic sexual behaviours, including porn/sex addictions and their partners, in a trauma informed way to understand the behaviour or help guide a path through the chaos that has been left behind.
