About me
We are living through extraordinary times. The last years been filled with challenges, difficulties and stressors.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic practitioner and I work to support people to understand more about what they are experiencing through a safely contained creative process. I work to meet you where you are and everyone's process is unique- just as we are all unique.
It's amazing how much the human spirit can take, but these recent years there have been all sorts of extra pressures to contend with both in our immediate lives and the world at large having huge impact on our mental and emotional health.
I offer sessions online & face to face which work to enable a connection to a 'deeper knowing'', of what you might be finding challenging or want to change in your life and this process can support you to heal & develop a more vital and resilient way of being in the world.
If you are feeling anxious, suffering low mood and feelings of overwhelm, you are not alone. You may have found your stress levels, anxiety levels or sense of 'not coping' have gone through the roof. Old habits and patterns from the past might have reared their head and are causing you pain and confusion. There may be strong feeling you are holding which you struggle to understand or accept in yourself.
I work relationally which means we are in a dialogue together, I will offer you concepts and reflections which enable an opportunity to clarify what is troubling you and find meaning through these challenges. Together we will work to discover the root causes of your distress and explore techniques and processes to enable change so you can turn survival into thriving.
Most people say that the most powerful aspect of their counselling process was having been heard, validated and witnessed without any pressure to be anything other than where they are in themselves -this moment.
It is my job to connect to what is most meaningful and useful for you within a confidential and nourishing space.
I will work to support you towards finding balance and wellbeing by feeling met and heard. This process offers the opportunity to develop personal tools and resources towards a fulfilling and nourishing life.
Alongside my private practice I work part time with the NHS Powys and offer various arts and nature based groups.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am an accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. I studied with Re-Vision Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy in London gaining a three yr diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapeutic Counselling. which means I integrate different theoretical teachings and tools which offer rich perspectives to support our work together and allows for an individuals unique experience to draw on different tools, techniques and perspectives.
I am a trauma specialist practitioner working with EMDR (level 3) and CT-PTSD-CBT. EMDR (eye movement desensitisation reprocessing) is a specific treatment for trauma, anxiety, PTSD, compulsive and obsessive behaviour.
My work is fundamentally a talking therapy & can also include creative explorations and nature therapy if this suits you/ or you are interested to work this way.
I also work holistically including body-mind and soul focused healing processing, drawing from my training in Reiki and current training in Mesa shamanic stone healing practices.
Creatively our processes can also include Jungian work with images, dream work, writing, drawing (mark making), chair work and embodiment work, expressive arts, creative or nature activities. We would chose these together based on your interest.
These creative soulful practices enable a connection to your subconscious -a deeper sense of your inner world & offers perspectives which are deeply transformative and meaningful.
Every person is different. Every process is different. I will follow what is interesting or useful from your experience and we will explore and navigate this process together.
You are welcome and encouraged to bring any dreams to our sessions. These can gain precious insight into your inner world.
If you prefer nature therapy (wild therapy/eco psychotherapy) exploration. We can discuss this. I have worked in green spaces near Machynlleth, Llanidloes and Newtown offering this aspect of therapy and also work on Nature based Retreats.
It is fine to vary our work between indoor, online or in nature sessions. We can arrange this as we go along.
A transpersonal approach means we hold a sense of the 'bigger picture' of life looking to make some meaning from its challenges. You might want to consider what you yearn for, or what you might feel calling you.
I am certified in Psychedelic Assisted Practice. It is not yet possible to becomes licensed in the UK unless within recognised legal studies. There are legal options overseas as well as studies in the UK. Psychedelic assisted therapy is being studied all over the world for its support with PTSD, anxiety and persistent depression. And so far the science is demonstrating very positive data.
*Please check the law in your country before taking psychedelic medicine.
I run various wellbeing workshops and events throughout the year and you can find out more all of my services on my website including joining my monthly newsletter.
If you would like to speak with me about options, I offer a free 20min call, so please get in touch if you would like to book a call.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
