About me
Hi I’m Georgia. Whoever you are, whatever your story may be, I would like to extend a warm welcome to my page!
How I can help you
I offer a compassionate, welcoming, and affirmative space for people of all backgrounds. My aim is to help you feel more at ease and to support you in living a life that feels authentic and true to you. Together, we can navigate the challenges you’re facing and explore the changes you’d like to make, approaching everything with curiosity and kindness. I bring a blend of practical psychological tools and a deeply empathetic approach.
I work with an embodied, somatic approach to therapy, recognising that connecting with the body can sometimes feel painful or overwhelming. I take a gentle, compassionate stance, helping you develop curiosity about your bodily experience in a way that supports deeper acceptance and self-understanding. I see mental health as not only about navigating challenges but also about nurturing what feels good and meaningful in your life. My approach is holistic and relational — working with you as a whole person to explore the changes you want to make and the patterns that may be holding you back.
Therapy can be a space to explore and make sense of past experiences, as well as to gently uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I offer a spacious, supportive environment for this work, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, and I will do my best to ease you into the process — working collaboratively to find a style and rhythm that feels comfortable and supportive.
My particular areas of interest are:
- LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling
- Chronic pain/chronic illness
- Anxiety/OCD
A bit about me
As an integrative therapist, I believe that counselling should be tailored to the unique needs of each person. There is no "one size fits all" approach, so I draw from a range of therapeutic models to find what works best for you.
I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space that feels both safe and celebratory for every client. A commitment to anti-racist practice and an ongoing examination of my own cultural privilege are central to the way I work.
Professional development is important to me, and I regularly engage in additional training to deepen and broaden my practice. I’m also an avid reader and enjoy staying connected to the latest research. In my personal life, I try to live by the values I bring to therapy — prioritising mindfulness, balance, and values-led living.
Will this be a good fit for you?
Get in touch for a free non obligation phone call where we can talk more about what you’re looking for, my practice, and whether we are a good fit.
I offer both long and short term work online and in south Birmingham.
I look forward to being a part of your journey!

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
