About me

"Use The Power of Your Conscious & Subconscious Mind To Create a Vibrational Match For the Abundance You Desire & Deserve" -Jack Canfield

There is no doubt that the therapy field has changed drastically over the years, which can sometimes make is difficult for women and men to decide which therapeutic intervention would work best for them. From personal experience, I remember a time when I was having therapy, but I always felt that the approach that was used continued to keep me in a state of lack rather than growth. I found myself still seeking understanding of my emotions. Therefore I decided to learn about holistic modalities and neuroscience, which assisted me with understanding how the mind and body functions together. I began to utilise these skills in my day to day life, and this was when I truly began to connect with myself, and develop great awareness about my childhood trauma, the disconnect I had with my body image and relationships. I no longer live under labels, instead I use the power of my thoughts to create the reality I want to be seen as and feel as.

My specialities & approach to therapy:

My way of working is integrating therapeutic approaches interlinked with neuroscience. Your mind is a powerful tool because it can influence reality through your beliefs, thoughts and actions. I teach clients to target their inner critic, rewire their mind and understand how self-talk drives their behaviours. Your negative voice is formed through your childhood, by the stories that you tell yourself, people impressing your mind with limiting beliefs or your environment. Your childhood sets the tone as to how you think and feel about yourself and the world. But what if I told you that your childhood experiences do not need to dictate your life? What if I told you that you get the final say on the beliefs you want to hold about yourself? The words we use are a vehicle for emotion. I provide the tools to help clients learn how to change and reframe their self-talk. Our sessions will also assist you to eliminate negative self-talk, change negative beliefs about yourself, regulate your emotions, stay calm under pressure, and establish a better relationship with anxiety and stress.

I offer step by step counselling and coaching for adults, teenagers and couples. Therapy can be daunting; this is why I continue to provide support outside of sessions to help eliminate feelings of isolation and help minimise doubtful thoughts that may creep in after each session.

My sessions are your safe space. You are an amazing individual who is deserving of all of  breaking free from negative thoughts that are preventing you from flourishing.

Some reasons why you may need therapy:

Are you struggling to feel safe in your body, to a point you feel disconnected from your true self? Do you feel like you’ve developed lack of self-compassion over the years which is impacting your self-esteem? Are you tired of compromising your own feelings and needs for people who do not value you? Has drinking or using drugs become a form of coping or a way to escape from reality? Is your depression, anxiety or low mood causing you to feel worthless? Is your relationship starting to feel like the “same old, same old” routine? If you or someone you are supporting is experiencing any of these feelings, then I can help.

In person location:

Our in-person location is in the City of London, close to Liverpool Street Station. We also have a location 7 minutes away from Oxford Circus Station. Locations will be disclosed during our consultation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
