About me
If you've found your way to this page, you're probably going through a difficult time right now, or you're feeling dissatisfied with your life.
- Are you plagued by anxious thoughts?
- Are you struggling with feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt or low self-worth?
- Are you feeling lost in relationships and struggling to connect with others?
- Are you seeking understanding—either about yourself or the circumstances you are in right now?
- Maybe you have a critical voice in your head that's constantly putting you down.
- Perhaps you have had traumatic experiences in the past that have left you confused and continue to impact your life.
Talking Therapy can help you to gently and safely explore your thoughts and feelings and move towards a place of healing. I provide a safe, trauma informed, non-judgmental and nurturing therapeutic relationship that will provide you with the space to talk through your difficulties, understand yourself better and assist in alleviating your distress.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and it's understandable to feel hesitant or unsure. Many people experience similar feelings before starting therapy. I aim to gently guide you through the process with understanding and compassion. Our sessions will always move at your pace and will be tailored to meet your needs and goals.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
- Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
I'm a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor which means I'm trained in several evidence-based approaches which I adapt to suit the individuality of each client.
The approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis & Gestalt Therapy.
In addition to my private practice, I also work part-time at a domestic abuse charity, offering counselling to individuals who have survived physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, and financial abuse. This experience enables me to work with all clients from a trauma-informed perspective.

Further information
My primary clients are those who are dealing with anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship issues and trauma.
I have a keen interest in men's mental health issues and have worked successfully with many male clients.
Having previously worked in retail and financial management, I have a good understanding of corporate environments and how professional pressures can impact on mental health. I have successfully worked with clients experiencing work related anxiety, stress and burnout.
During our sessions my sole focus will be on you and whatever you feel comfortable to share. Working together to help you heal and unlock your full potential.
