Im an integrative counsellor/psychotherapist offering support for adults, children/teenagers and couples via zoom or face to face in my private practice.
I'm MBACP Reg. and MNCS Reg. Accredited therapist
I specialise in Bereavement, Trauma, Depression and Anxiety. My private practice provides a quiet, safe, confidetial space to talk. As a counsellor I'm non-judgmental, empathic and client led. The therapeutic process is individually catered to what the client brings and needs.
I have experience working with:
- Trauma
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Relationship issues
- Bullying
- Low mood
- Discrimination
- Loneliness
- Suicide within a family
- Stress-related issues
- Bereavement
I have been a counsellor for many years, during this time I have worked with 1:1 clients, Couples Counselling and Emotional Support Groups. Please see below for more information about this.
The next step
It can feel quite daunting making the decision to see a counsellor. I provide an initial free 50 minute in-take session. This in-take meeting will give the opportunity for both myself the counsellor and you the client, time to explore what you want from this process, then you can make the decision if I am the right counsellor for you. Being genuine from the beginning and exploring the counsellor/client relationship will help to build a rapport, enabling the therapeutic relationship to work more successfully.
You can call me on 07983799140 or send me an email here if you have any questions or would like to set up a session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor, my qualifications are with AIM awards and NCS (national counselling society). I'm MBACP Reg. ( a registered member of BACP governing body). I abide and work alongside the ethical framework set out by BACP. I work with Children and Teenagers, Adults and Couples.
I am an integrative counsellor which means I am trained within CBT, Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches, I individually cater the way I work to the need of each client. I also use play therapy, art therapy, visuasation, stone therapy and many other therapies that are useful if a client is struggling too verbalise how they are feeling.
I offer short-term and long-term therapy.
As a counsellor I continuously expand my experience and knowledge by attending regular CPD workshops, this keeps me updated, aswell as it enables me to learn new skills, which will be incorporated into my private practice.
I also offer EFT (Emotional freedom techniques) a new way of working with clients using tapping.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society
This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.
In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
