About me
Hello, I am an integrative counsellor dedicated to improving my clients mental health within a safe space for reflection and personal growth through offering a non-judgmental warm and friendly therapeutic relationship. I provide guidance and support with stress management techniques, mindfulness practices, coping with strategies for anxiety, goal setting and general emotional support including grief and loss.
I combine the techniques of CBT, Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches to be able then to establish and implement individual client needs. I have extensive experience with bereavement and loss, anxiety, stress, self-esteem and issues relating to substance mis-use.
I am fully committed to supporting each client, even if to just simply listen. I can connect and empathise with any difficulties that clients may be experiencing and we can work together on helping you heal and provide you with the tools that will lead to a more positive outlook on life.

Further information
Firstly, I like to use the Person Centred approach to establish a therapeutic relationship, exploring what brought the client to therapy and then we both decide the best way to progress. If appropriate CBT is one of the useful tools to use, it looks at how thoughts affect your emotions and your actions, so learning how to develop these lifelong tools can positively change lives. Using the Psychodynamic approach can visit the past and sometimes it can correlate with the present.
