About me
Welcome
If you’re here, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of space to pause and make sense of things. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but it’s also a meaningful step towards caring for yourself. I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported as we work together.
I’m a fully accredited Senior Cognitive Behavioural and EMDR Psychotherapist with experience across NHS and third-sector services. My work is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw on CBT, EMDR, ACT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, and CBT-E, tailoring therapy to your individual needs and goals.
Before training as a therapist, I completed a BSc in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, and worked for many years supporting individuals and families experiencing complex emotional and psychological difficulties. I have particular experience supporting people affected by trauma, including sexual violence and exploitation, which continues to inform my therapeutic work today.
In therapy, we’ll explore not only symptoms, but the patterns, experiences, and meanings beneath them. I see therapy as a collaborative process, with you setting the pace and direction, and me offering insight, structure, and steady support.
I work from a holistic, bio-psycho-social perspective, recognising how thoughts, emotions, relationships, physical health, and wider systems interact. I have particular experience working with PTSD, OCD, anxiety, phobias, body image concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem.
I’m committed to inclusive, affirming practice and value the role of culture, identity, and lived experience in shaping mental health. Therapy should feel respectful, relevant, and welcoming to all parts of you.
If you’re considering starting therapy, I’d be glad to support you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
