About me

I aim to create a safe space to support your journey at a pace that feels right for you. I am passionate about working holistically and connecting with both the mind and body. I work using a Core Process Psychotherapeutic (CPP) model to adapt to the individual needs of my clients. CPP is an integrative approach that draws on various western domains, including psychodynamic, humanistic and existential, as well as eastern practices, such as mindfulness.

Bringing mindfulness, a sense of spaciousness and non-judgement, to what is enquired into, can allow a gentler way of meeting what arises. I gently work together with my clients to help respond from their inherent potential, rather than learnt patterns, fostering choice and empowerment.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified therapist registered with UKCP. I have drawn from over 12 years experience in the mental health field supporting clients with a variety of needs. I hold a BSc (hons) degree in Psychology, a MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology, and a MA in Mindfulness Based Core Process Psychotherapy. Having noticed the impact of birth experiences in client work, I have also pursued a specialised training on “Prenatal and Birth Experience and lifelong influences”.

I enjoy working alongside my clients in developing skills to communicate their needs and regulate strong emotions. Throughout my experience, I have seen how much change, healing and opportunity can come out of difficulty and enjoy holding this potential with my clients. Working closely with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities and spectrums, I advocate and celebrate all differences— working with both the difficulty and joy in this area.

I have experience with a range of areas including stress, feeling sad, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, bullying, abuse, dissociation, pre and perinatal psychology, disordered eating, autism, sexuality, race, shame, low self-esteem, self-harm, family dynamics, relationships, communication issues, dreams, shadow material, spirituality, existential issues and life goals or purpose.
