About me
Life can bring challenges at any time, and when you’re struggling, it can feel difficult to know where to turn. You might feel unsure about how to move forward, and that uncertainty can add to feelings of overwhelm.
Counselling offers a space to untangle your thoughts, manage overwhelm, and process the feelings and emotions that may be causing difficulty. Together, we can explore your challenges and work towards a sense of clarity and balance.
I take an integrative approach grounded in person-centred counselling. Each session is tailored to you, whether we pick up where we left off or address new concerns that have arisen during the week. My style is conversational and supportive, allowing time for you to speak freely and reflect in a safe, non-judgmental space.
In addition to our conversations, I draw on a variety of therapeutic tools to support your unique needs. I work with clients facing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low mood, and bereavement. I also have a special interest in women’s reproductive health, including fertility challenges, pregnancy anxiety, birth trauma, adjusting to parenthood, and navigating the menopause.
I am also the author of Loving Life in the Middle: How to Care for Yourself Whilst Caring for All the Family. This book is for busy women who struggle to find time for themselves while balancing family, work, and increasing responsibilities. It highlights why self-care is essential, offers practical strategies to make it achievable, and provides over 100 self-care suggestions to get you started.
If you’re unsure about what to do next, I offer a free initial phone call of up to 30 minutes. This gives us a chance to chat about your needs and explore how I can support you. You’re welcome to take some time to consider your next steps, and I’m always happy to answer questions to ensure you feel confident in finding the right support for you.
