About me
If you feel stuck in thoughts, feelings or patterns that are difficult to change, if a life event has left you feeling overwhelmed, or if you’ve tried talking therapies but still feel that something hasn’t shifted, you’re not alone.
Sometimes, creativity can offer another way in - I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist and can help you find gentle ways to explore what’s going on beneath the surface, express what feels difficult to put into words, and begin to make sense of your experiences.
I work with many issues such as; anxiety, stress, burnout, neurodiversity, relational patterns, loss and grief, relationship issues (including divorce, sexual issues, and infidelity) life transitions (parenting, empty nest, career concerns), work problems, menopause, and men's issues.
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. You don’t need to find the right words, and you certainly don’t need to be good at art to benefit from art therapy.
Together, we can find ways of working that feel right for you, at your own pace, in a space where you can feel heard, supported and understood.
No problem is silly, and it takes courage to seek help. If you're interested in exploring how we can work together, please feel free to contact me for a free 20 min phone consultation.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

I offer weekly face to face 50 min sessions in Hitchin and in Letchworth. I also work online from time-to-time.
I work long term and short term. This is dependent on what you wish to work with. Some issues can be worked with within a few sessions. Others require deeper work and more time. There is no recommended amount of sessions and no block booking. We will work together to find a timing and approach which suits you.
