About me

Counselling - I am here to support you

Do you feel you are uncertain and stressed with trying to cope with situations, sometimes out of your control, that are caused by others and with no one to talk to who isn’t biased and judgemental?

As a qualified psychologist and counsellor, I am here to help and support you through challenging times. No problem or issue is too small.

I provide counselling (short and long term) within a safe and confidential space enabling you to develop your self-awareness and to make sense of what has happened and to learn how to cope with certain events in different situations.

I am very experienced working with a range of emotional needs and difficulties for individuals and couples, including those who are neurodiverse and who may have been diagnosed with specific mental health conditions, such as borderline personality disorder, emotional instability personality disorder, OCD and complex PTSD.

I have worked previously as a psychologist within business and understand the pressures of work, including bullying and feeling completely overwhelmed with the role you do with little support in the workplace. Knowing who to trust can be tricky to navigate.

In addition, I am experienced working with traditional and blended families, coping with the challenges of child access arrangements, managing teenager/adolescent changes and helping parents to deal with everyday things in life without feeling like the only person trying to make things work. I have an in-depth understanding of relationships and helping clients to deal with different demands in order to feel complete in a relationship. I have in-depth knowledge and understanding (including lived experience) of coercive control and domestic abuse.

I have worked with clients in the armed forces, Police and security and understand the demands of these roles and how balancing this with family or single life can sometimes feel so overwhelming.

Whilst my range of expertise is wide, my focus remains on my client and helping them to face difficulties through coping strategies, confidence and self-esteem building.

My aim is quite simply to support you with a pure and non-judgemental approach where trust is key.
