About me
Hi, I’m Amy, I'm a fully qualified integrative counsellor specialising in Anxiety and Depression. I aim to provide you a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges without judgment. Together, we’ll work at your pace to navigate difficult emotions and explore practical strategies to support your mental health.
My approach to counselling is rooted in empathy and understanding. As an integrative counsellor I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. I take methods from different counselling approaches to suit you as an individual, recognising that your struggles and experiences are unique.
I offer online sessions throughout the West Midlands and in-person sessions to adults (18+) in the Solihull area. Whilst I specialise in Anxiety and Depression, I also have a lot of experience working with many different issues that can affect mental health.
All topics and emotions are welcome, and I will hold a friendly, non-judgemental, supportive space for you throughout, where you can talk openly about your thoughts and feelings.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Struggling with your mental health can feel like such a lonely experience, and stepping out to find support can be a daunting step. Maybe you’ve never had counselling before and don’t know what to expect or have previously tried counselling and it didn’t quite click for you. Whatever your experience, I want to reassure you, that this is your journey.
Counselling isn’t about being told what to do, but instead a space for you to process difficulties, gain a better understanding of self (patterns of behaviour, coping mechanisms, unhelpful thinking styles), and find strategies that work for you as an individual.
It’s a place where you can show up, as you are, without having to mask. As a counsellor I’m not here to judge or to tell you when you are right or wrong. Instead, I want to offer a space where you feel truly heard and the support to help you move forward at your pace.
I encourage you to reach out.
