About me

Welcome – I’m glad you’re here.

Many of the people I’ve worked with came to therapy unsure or sceptical – maybe it was their first time in a therapy space, they feared being judged or scrutinised, or because previous attempts were not helpful. I appreciate how hard it can be to take that first step (– or try again!) and I hold space with care, support, and compassion.

I offer online sessions, so you can access support from wherever you are in the UK, which can be particularly helpful for clients who lead a busy lifestyle, as well as those who would like privacy and convenience. Your psychological wellbeing, regardless of whether you are a high achiever or are struggling mentally while in a position of privilege, deserves professional attention. I have experience in supporting clients navigate the unique pressures and expectations that come with living a life beyond surviving - to live a spirited life.

I provide an empowering, confidential space where you can explore what's troubling you. My approach is non-judgemental, collaborative, and tailored to you – because your story, your experiences, and needs are unique. Coming from a South Asian ethnic background, I offer an open-minded and multicultural perspective, including appreciation of the challenges presented by migration to the UK, or pressures from family and society, regardless of ethnicity or country of origin.

If you're ready to explore how therapy could support you, I’m here to walk alongside you. Get in touch for a free introductory consultation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

COSRT
College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT)

COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.

All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
