Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
Choosing the right therapist is very important and it can be a very difficult task. Take your time! You have to find the therapist that you think will suit your needs;
Having 14 years experience as a Counsellor; as well as Lecturing and Training in Counselling / Psychotherapy and Psychology.
I feel all Counselling should be within an environment that is peaceful and relaxed; some where you can be listened too, somewhere to be understood, not judged, somewhere where confidentiality will be adhered to. I believe all counselling should demonstrate this by putting the individual first throughout by demonstrating Respect, Non-judgemental and Acceptance.
Your therapy will be at your pace and at your level of understanding and at your pace, in your own time.
I work within the integrated approach; this means that the therapist takes the most effective elements of a number of counselling approaches and models and with your assistance, the therapist will work with you and these approaches to reach the outcome you require.
Therapy is a two-way process where both listener and talker interact with each other. You won’t be doing all this alone; I will be with you throughout each session helping you find your own way.
