About me

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with individuals and couples on a short term and long term basis, with the aim of enabling them to live their life more fully.

Some people simply feel there is "something wrong" and want space to explore their thoughts and feelings. I offer a non-judgemental, supportive and confidential space that will allow you to explore and gain an understanding of the feelings or situation that is causing you unhappiness.

My practice is located in Brockley and is a short walk from Brockley station. I will provide directions once we have set a date to meet.

I currently offer weekly 50 minute, Skype or face to face sessions for individuals, and 1 hour 15 minute sessions to couples (in person only).

If you need to cancel our session I require 48 hours notice, by email or phone. If notice is not given in this timescale my fee for the session will become payable.

Individuals £45 (50 minutes); couples £65 (75 minutes). I offer a reduced fee for those on a low income and students. I accept payment by cash or cheque. My fee is reviewable but I would discuss this with you before this became relevant.

Further information

I have been working with people for over fifteen years, and take a holistic view of the mind body and soul. Before training as a therapist, I worked extensively within the criminal justice and social care system with young people and their families, supporting them in making positive changes in their lives.

My training is in Relational Transactional Analysis (TA). TA is a theory that was developed by Dr. Eric Berne in the 1950s. The theory outlines how we have developed, and treat ourselves, along with how we relate and communicate with others. The philosophy of TA is that: people can change, and that we all have a right to be in the world and be accepted.

The type of counselling and psychotherapy that I offer are:

  • Relational Transactional Analysis
  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Psychotherapeutic Counselling
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Couples counselling
  • A Mindfulness approach
