My name is Sophie, I am an integrative counsellor based in Somerset. Sometimes life can be overwhelming and you may feel like no-one is listening. I offer a safe and confidential environment for you to explore these feelings and problems you are experiencing. Asking for help and support can seem daunting, so please contact me if you would like to ask a question or to book an initial meeting.
Counselling offers you a safe, confidential environment to discuss and explore your problems and allow you space to better understand any difficult feelings you may be experiencing.
Often people seek counselling because they would like an objective perspective away from family and friends opinions. As a counsellor, I do not give advice or judge, but I can help uncover your own insight and understanding of your problem providing you with the tools to help you resolve them on your own. Counselling can also help you to understand other’s views better, shedding a light on the way you interpret words and actions.
Counselling is a journey, it takes time and consistency to be effective and so many opt for regular sessions which is why I offer weekly sessions with regular reviews to help gauge progress. These sessions are one-to-one and allow space for reflection, exploration and challenges.
I am based in Somerset and currently have a comfortable counselling room in Yeovil. There is on-road parking outside the building.
