Most of us at some time in our life will experience situations that we find difficult to cope with. Sometimes we get to a point where we can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel and become overwhelmed with issues that are so challenging resulting in feeling extremely alone and stuck with no answers. Moving forward seems difficult or impossible resulting in low self esteem and lacking motivation.
This is where I believe counselling can make such a difference. I am an experienced, qualified, warm and empathic person-centred counsellor. I have a gentle but effective approach workIng with all age groups with a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, sexual abuse, eating disorders, bereavement and relationship issues.
I work with individuals where one to one therapy provides an excellent opportunity to work through the difficulties your struggling with. Also couples counselling where I work with couples helping clients work successfully through their relationship issues. Providing a safe trusting place where you can explore and begin to make sense of each other's feelings while feeling heard and understood.
I offer a dedicated counselling room, providing a confidential and safe space for you to explore all feelings without being judged so you feel listened to, valued and understood. It will be a place where you’ll have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings while in a safe comfortable environment with support and encouragement to gain some balance back in your life. Helping you find within you the strength to make the changes needed to move forward with your life.
Having been through issues in my own life I fully appreciate the courage it takes to make this step in coming for counselling and feel it would be a privilege for me to work with you. I would be happy to meet you for a free consultation and answer any questions you may have by telephone or email.
I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) And work along side their ethical framework.
