If you are reading this you are most likely in a difficult life situation, feeling in pain or distressed. Or maybe there are issues and areas in your life that you would wish to change and develop. You have just made your first step towards that change now.
Reaching out for help can be difficult and daunting, as can be coming for counselling. I will provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can explore what the next steps in your journey will be and how we can undertake them together.
I work in an integrative way which means that I can offer a range of styles and techniques. Some clients I see enjoy finding out about how our psyche works and applying that to their experiences, some clients just prefer to talk. Some of my clients find it difficult to talk about feelings and their experiences, and then we can use creative and imaginative techniques.
I have experience supporting my clients through short-term, goal-oriented work; and through long term work reaching more in-depth, and looking at psyche as a whole. Whether you are looking for resolution with relationship issues, family issues, affairs, or separation and divorce, I can offer you support. I often work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, phobias or bi-polar symptoms. Often we can find ourselves in more than one category or not fitting into any of those listed. I have an understanding of a variety of symptoms and conditions, but my approach is always to look for your unique experience of the difficulties you are facing.
I would invite you to get in touch to arrange an initial meeting where we can discuss all your questions and concerns.
I look forward to meeting you.
