About me

Hello my name is Linda, one of the key things with regard to counselling and psychotherapy is finding a therapist you can trust and is willing to work alongside you in an open way so you can feel free to explore new ways of being or doing.  If you would like to come along and see me I provide the initial 30 minutes free, this gives us the opportunity to meet and decide whether we want to start working together.

Sometimes if you are feeling anxious, confused or in an unhappy place in your life, it can seem never ending, lonely and difficult to manage leading to self doubt, miserableness, questioning and a sense of going around in circles.  I provide an impartial and supportive space where you can come and talk to someone independent and discover what it is that is creating the real issue so you can get back on track.

Why choose me?

Integrity and a willingness to be honest and real are my main values as a therapist. These values help me to be genuine whilst being respectful and facilitating. I believe that everyone as the right to expect clear dialogue that encourages recognition of difference whether that be in thoughts, feelings or behaviours.

My focus is on the emotional health, empowerment and well-being of each client. I encourage growth by inspiring greater individual independence, intimacy and spontaneity.

I offer short, medium and long term therapy dependant on the needs of the individual.

I work with people who are experiencing difficulties with the following:-

* Depression * Anxiety * Phobia * Stress/Post Traumatic Stress * Abuse * Relationship Difficulties * Death / Bereavement * Anger Management * Issues Around Eating * Work Related Issues * Self Confidence Issues * Obsessive Thoughts and Behaviours - And many more.

The costs for each session are:-

Individual Counselling £45.00 per appointment (1 hour)

Couples Counselling £50.00 per appointment (1 hour)

Group Therapy £20.00 per group per person (2 hours)

Psycho-education/Divorce Support
£10.00 per group meeting per person (1.5 hours)

Mediation £45 per hour (Individual Intake - 1 hour) (Joint Session - 2 hours).

Initial Consultation - first 30 minutes free

Whether you’re looking for personal or couples’ counselling sessions, group therapy, psycho-educational classes, divorce support or mediation, I offer a professional, confidential and sensitive service. If you feel that you need someone to talk to about any personal issue or social problem, I am happy to help.

You are welcome to contact me without obligation, for more information or with any questions you may have about Counselling, Psychotherapy, Group Support, Mediation or Training.
