I am a registered member of the BACP (British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to the ethical framework. I hold professional indemnity insurance and I am CRB checked.
I am integratively trained counsellor with my core being Psychodynamic, this means that I am able to tailor the sessions to your needs. I am able to offer short term work which is usually 6-8 sessions or long term counselling which is open ended for clients who need a safe place and dedicated time to work through their difficulties within a confidential space.
I am here to listen, support and help empower you to find your own way through your issue.
There are so many reasons why people need counselling and no matter what your reason, I am able to offer you a place where you are able to talk and explore your issues and options which will help you to resolve your distress.
I work with relationships issues, Domestic abuse, trauma , Stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, addictions, mental health, self harm, work related stress, low self esteem, post natal depression, OCD, Post traumatic stress, separation & divorce, suicidal thoughts, bereavement and loss, etc. I also work with stress and anxiety related to Educational issues.

Training, qualifications & experience
Master of Arts in Psychodynamic Counselling.
BACP Endorsed Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
Personality Disorders training
Masters summer school in counselling child and adolescence.
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic counselling
Level 3 Certificate in counselling studies
Level 2 Certificate in counselling skills
Certificate of recognition of Child Protection Advanced Level 2
Level 5 Introductory Diploma in management

I have experience working with All those affected by the trauma of Domestic Abuse and have been working Within a Domestic Violence Unit for the past three years.
I have experience of working with Children ( from age 5) and Adolescents who have experienced trauma and loss and have difficulties with anxiety and fear and anger issues. In addition to this I have worked with Children who are school refusers and have school phobias.
