Jan Chant BSc (Hons) MBACP
As an experienced counsellor I offer confidential, supportive, and effective counselling and a calm, safe environment in which to explore your concerns constructively without being judged.
I work with adults from all walks of life and with many varied concerns. I understand that contacting a counsellor may seem daunting but it is the first step toward positive change, awareness and feeling better. You don’t have to suffer in silence, bottle it up or go it alone.
If you are unsure if counselling is for you feel free to explore my website or to phone or email me with any questions you may have.

I am a very experienced counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I work to the BACP Framework for Ethical Practice and am committed to ongoing professional and personal development. I am also a qualified British Wheel of Yoga Teacher and as such my deep understanding of the connection between mind, body, behaviour and emotions enhances my work as a counsellor. It also means that for those who may be interested, I am able to offer effective techniques to help you to help yourself in cases of anxiety or stress (without you having to take up yoga or move from your seat).
Having recently completed OCTIA training, I am now also able to offer on-line counselling via video call on the secure Vsee service which is free to use and download and more private and secure than Skype. For details of this service please email me.
