My name is Deborah Haydock and I am a fully qualified, certified and insured Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience.
My practice is located conveniently and in a private secure setting.
Training, qualifications & experience
Qualified in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy, Dip Counselling M.B.C.P Dip Hypnopsychotherapy and Advanced cert in Hypnotherapy.Qualified in Counselling,
I can help to develop relaxation skills, especially beneficial to those with sleep problems or suffering from anxiety, pain, or panic attacks. Working with clients with phobias, such as fear of heights, and those wishing to change habits, such as smoking, weight loss, and problems associated with alcohol and it’s miss-use.
I have worked within the Primary Care Trust in Bolton counselling patients experiencing chronic illness, involved in practice with senior School Pupils within a school, as school counsellor on a one to one basis. Currently working within a refuge supporting families experiencing domestic abuse and my own private practice as advertised.
I offer a balance between support and challenge, dependent on where you are as an individual. You may need more support than challenge. The person-centered basis of therapy will ensure we go at your pace. As an integrated therapist, I am able to offer other models of therapy such as C.B.T., Gestalt & Psychoanalysis with the consent of you, my client.
I have specialised in alternative approaches to therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural TheraIpy (C.B.T) and Bereavement and Loss issues. I am a fully insured member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), bound to their code of ethics and also subject to their complaint procedure.
I have my own personal experiences and life tapestry which I believe deepens my empathy with others and initiated my longing to help individuals by establishing Counselling Care UK.
