About me

Are you considering to put an end to your unpleasant feeling? Is it difficult for you to talk about your problem with people around you? Seeking a safe and confidential place to find a way out of your difficulties? Listening, caring and assisting people through difficult time of their lives are main focus of my field of expertise. Sometimes we need to change in order to get over our problems. As such, we need to understand the very cause of our difficulties to be able to make such a change which is very probable to happen through the course of psychoanalysis.

My private practice provides a Lacanian psychoanalytic approach to the problems of clients who are keen to find out why there is something wrong in their personal and social lives. The issues that I deal with in my practice are:

- Relationship difficulties

- Anxiety

- Depression

- Eating problem

- Low Self-esteem

- Grief and Bereavement

- Obsession

- Stress

- Phobia

- Abuse

- Career difficulties

- Trauma

- Mood swing (Manic-depressive episodes)

- Sleeping problem

Psychoanalysis is an open ended approach and can be either short or long term. The analytic work termination will be discussed between the analyst and the analysand.

Training, qualifications & experience

My knowledge and experience from different approaches to mental health (from medicine to psychoanalysis) have allowed me to see the problems of a human subject from a broader angle. The main strategy in my practice is assisting people to find their very unique way to deal with their difficulties. Being a medical doctor, I was under psychiatric training that I found out about psychoanalytic concepts explaining individuals suffering differently. This acquaintance was fascinating and intriguing enough for me to decide to embark on a Freudian and post Freudian psychoanalytic training programmes under supervision of a member of French National college of Psychiatrists.

Later, I was awarded a master degree with Merit in Psychoanalysis and Sociology from Brunel University in London. After my graduation from Brunel university, I commenced another psychoanalytic training in Lacanian orientation at CFAR (Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research), UKCP registered organisation.

Currently I am a full member of CFAR and The College of Psychoanalysts UK (CP-UK) in private practice offering psychoanalysis in Lacanian orientation.
