Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I hope you find this information helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions about my counselling practice. In seeking a counsellor you are taking a significant step towards helping yourself feel better and I wish you well in this search.
I will provide you with a safe and confidential space for you to talk about the difficulties you are currently experiencing and for us to find a way forward for you.
About me: Before my counselling career, I worked in a variety of environments. These experiences made me curious about human beings and the way we think, feel and behave. This curiosity led me to begin my initial counselling training.

Location: My private practice is situated in a house in Frizington.

In 2004 I began volunteering for a rape crisis service where I undertook their extensive training which prepared me for working with clients that have experienced rape and/or sexual abuse.
While studying for my degree I further developed my skills, with modules on Gender and Human Sexuality, CBT, Supervision, Trauma and Contemporary Developments such as Narrative Therapy and Neuroscience.
