Profile
I offer open-ended and short-term counselling at two locations within a wide range of issues including Couples Counselling, Fear of Flying (EMDR), Confidence Issues, Panic and Anxiety Attacks, Work stress and Depression, as well as Coaching, Mediation and Stress Management Consultancy. I also work with Fear of Travelling on Trains and Tubes (EMDR), OCD and Phobias.
I also provide therapeutic services, including counselling and trauma management, for major Employee Assistance Providers, Human Resource Departments and Private Health Care Companies in the UK and am a registered provider for most of the major UK Insurance Companies.
My counselling orientation is Eclecticism. This approach gives both myself and my clients the freedom and the flexibility to work within a wide range of counselling approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In other words, the client does not have to fit into an already prescribed model. The model is instead individually fitted to the needs of each client. My style is warm, though pragmatic, and feedback from clients would seem to indicate that I am easy to talk to. I believe it is necessary to be able to demonstrate understanding and respect for the client's 'story' before a client can feel sufficiently confident and supported to move forward within the work.

It is readily accessible from a wide area including the M4 and M40 and is also served by rail if you are coming to see me in Cookham. Excellent parking facilities and a variety of waiting areas within the building so as to ensure your confidentiality.
My Harley St. practice is ideally located for clients working in central London and the location is easily accessed by tube or bus. For some clients it is possible to walk from their work-place when they come to see me.
Clients who live locally but work in London sometimes find it useful to be able to see me in both locations depending on their schedules.
