Counsellor Profile
I am a qualified counsellor with BACP accreditation and insurance. I qualified with a diploma from Salford University in person centred-counselling on an accredited course. I continued to do a postgraduate certificate in Counselling children and adolescents. I have trained to do solution focused therapy. In Sept 2008 I began a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a MSC in Counselling studying the Supervision module this year. I am a counsellor for the students at an FE college. I work for the NHS offering staff counselling to employees three days a week for Cheshire Wirral Partnership Trust at Chester Hospital. I work for Cheshire County Council as a counsellor in Occupational Health and other employment assistance programs in counselling in any issue for their staff. I have experience working with corporate companies clinically debriefing and offering on-sight support following critical incidence. I have taught counselling at Warrington Collegiate on all the levels of concepts, certificate and diploma level. I have a private practice which i work from home. I do pastoral counselling in a church setting as well. I have done specialist training to work with couples and families.

£35 individuals (for 1 hour).
£20 children (for 0.5 hour)
£55 Couples (for 1.5 hours).
£55 Families (for 1.5 hours).
£45 EAP work or companies.
Discounts for non-workers, students and children are negotiable.
For certain criteria I will travel to the client.
Extra Information
I think finding the right counsellor is really important as it affects the work you are able to do with them. You need to find someone you can trust. I would encourage you to ring and chat about what you need and talk to me. Counselling is really powerful but working with the right person is essential. I will encourage you to do that!
