As an experienced Humanistic Counsellor and NLP practitioner, my role is on recognising an individual's uniqueness and personal strength, and I believe that everybody has within them the ability to find their own sense of wellbeing and inner peace through awareness and acknowledgement. However, life sometimes confronts us with obstacles of all kinds and in all ways making it not always possible to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, my commitment to you is to offer a supportive, professional and confidential therapeutic space, where emotions, thoughts and feelings can be explored together and at a pace which you, the client, feels safe enough to work through to encourage change within yourselves.
I am fully insured, CRB checked and have ongoing clinical supervision and regularly attend courses to enhance my professional skills practice.
I am also an experienced addictions counsellor trained by the Sussex Alcohol & Substance Use Services (SASS).
I see individuals and couples in a comfortable and private room in my house. Long or short term therapy is available, depending on the individual needs and requirements of my clients. I offer weekday and evening appointments Monday to Saturday with individual sessions lasting one hour and couple sessions for one and a half hours.
My counselling room is situated in Selby with free parking and is easily accessible by both train and bus routes.
Please feel free to call me on 01757 711456 to arrange an appointment or simply to find out more information without any obligation.
